Warm up: Row Technique 10 minutes

(1) Front Squat 1RM

(2) 4 x 1 Front Squat @ 90%

(3) Clean & Jerk Technique

Comments:
Right now we try to hit Josh with a longer (20 minute-ish) work capacity session on mondays, followed by a lower volume strength session on tuesdays. Once the Open WOD is released we assess how the rest of the sessions should go as far as exercise selection. Today we keep josh fresh and moving with C&J's.

Yesterday proved to be tough for Josh, and we're still trying to improve his rowing technique, so we have Military Athlete intern JB working with him at the beginning of the session. JB has crew coaching experience so he can help Josh with the finer details on the Concept 2. The video clip has JB coaching him up.

Programming Courses

Six Week, 30-Session long training plan sport-specifically designed to train athletes for a rock climbing trip, or as focused, rock-gym based training cycle. This plan is focused on increasing the athlete's finger, grip and forearm strength, and also includes general work capacity, and core strength training.
