Josh's CrossFit Training

Josh gets set for a 275# Clean & Jerk

<< 2012-02-17 >>

2.17.12

(1) Front Squat 1RM

(2) Clean & Jerk 1RM

(3) 5x1 C&J @ 75% - light, fast, quality reps

Comments:
Today was sort of a rest day. I use the 1RM Front Squat as a "warm up" for doing cleans. It primes the body and gets the CNS firing on all cylinders. Our focus today was just some good quality reps on Clean & Jerk. We're not going to make Josh any stronger over the next 4 or 5 days so there's not much point in pushing it right now. Leading into competition we think Josh looks a little skinny... We hope he sleeps well and eats a lot this weekend. Wednesday we put the pedal to the metal.
